Now back in Indonesia I finally have time to tell you about my adventures in YCM before I will tell you more about my famous Indotrip. If there is one thing important in en NGO its a good work environment. Many things are part of a good work environment, so is the teamplay of the coworkers. One of our sponsors thought it would be a good idea to enable the tutors to have an outbound. Now to strenghen the bounds between the tutors and to have an memorable event we decided to go rafting. You’re in one raft, you’re depending on everyone’s cooperation and it brings you closer together, what could be better? We headed to the Citarik River somewhere northwest of Sukabumi and south of Bogor. The provider Arusliar offers very reasonable packages and we decided for a 9 kilometer rafting tour. We had to head up the river for quite a while so we had some time to enjoy the view. The landscape was amazing. Though Java is overpopulated this area nearly appears to be untouched. Ok maybe I should just say less crowded. Finally we got to the river and we readied our four rafts. The first part of our journey was quite chilled but the longer we were on the river the rougher it got. Coordination was one of the major task and passing the difficult spot was only possible with good team work. Non of our rafts capsized. In the end we had some time to swim in the river, but the current was really strong. It was an amazing day and we had a lot to talk about after our tour. It brought us closer together, just as planed. Totally satisfied and totally tired we headed back home to Bogor.

Endlich zurück in Indonesien habe ich Zeit euch von meinen Abenteuern im YCM zu erzählen, ehe ich mit meinem berühmt berüchtigten Indotrip weitermache. Wenn es etwas wichtiges in einer NGO gibt, dann ist es eine gute Arbeitsumgebung. Viele Dinge sind wichtig in einer guten Arbeitsumgebung, unter anderem der Teamgeist. Einer unserer Förderer dachte sich, dass es eine gute Idee wäre, wenn wir Tutoren mal einen Ausflug machen könnten. Um uns zusammenzuschweißen und etwas besonders zu machen, entschieden wir uns Raften zu gehen. Man sitzt zusammen in einem Raft, man hängt von der Zusammenarbeit aller ab und es schweißt einen zusammen, was könnte da besser sein? Wir machten uns auf zum Citrak Fluss irgendwo nordwestlich von Sukabumi und südlich von Bogor. Unser Anbieter war Arusliar, dort gab es ein Angebot über 9 Kilometer für einen vernünftigen Preis. Wir mussten erst eine Weile den Fluss hochfahren und währenddessen konnten wir die Aussicht genießen. Die Landschaft war atemberaubend. Obwohl Java überbevölkert ist, erscheint dieses Gebiet fast unberührt. Ok, vielleicht sollte ich einfach nur sagen weniger überfüllt. Als wir endlich am Fluss ankammen machten wir unsere Rafts bereit. Der erste Teil unserer Fahrt flussabwährt war sehr gemütlich, aber um so länger wir unterwegs waren um so schwieriger wurde es. Koordination war eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben um die schwierigen Stellen zu durchschiffen, natürlich ging das nur mit gutem Teamwork. Keines unserer Rafts kenterte. Am Ende konnten wir noch etwas im Fluss schwimmen, doch die Strömung war sehr stark. Es wahr ein wunderbarer Tag und wir hatten danach viel zu erzählen. Es brachte uns näher zusammen, genau wie geplant. Sehr zufrieden und sehr müde machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Hause nach Bogor.

Por fin he vuelta a Indonesia y ahora les puedo contar de mis aventuras en el YCM, antes de continuar con mi famoso Indotrip. Si hay algo importante en un NGO es un bueno ambiente de trabajo. Hay muchas cosas que influyen al ambiente de trabaja, entre ellos el espíritu de equipo. Uno de nuestros fomentadores pensaba que sería bueno si haríamos una excursión con los tutores. Para tener una aventura en equipo y relacionarnos decidimos de irnos rafting. Juntos estamos sentados en un raft, todos dependen de la cooperación de los demás, y todos se acercan, que podría ser mejor? Nos ibamos al río Citrak algo noroeste de Sukabumi y sur de Bogor. Ibamos con Arusliar porque tuven ofertas buenas por la ruta de 9 kilómetros.Primero tuvimos que coger un coche para llegar al río. Mientras podimos disfruta la vista. El paisaje era lindísimo. Aunque Java está sobrepopuloso, aquí hasta que pareció virgin. Tal vez mejor digo poco populoso. Al fin llegabamos al río y preparabamos nuestros rafts. El primero parte de la pasaje era tranquilo, pero con el tiempo se pusó furioso. La coordinación era crucial y solo se podía pasar los lugares dificiles con buen trabajo de equipo. Ningún de nuestros rafts zozobró. En el final de nuestro pasaje se pudó nadar, pero hubo corrientes fuertes. Era un día increíble y tuvimos muchísimo de que hablar después. Nos relacionabamos tal como planeado. Muy feliz y muy cansado regresabamos a nuestras casas a Bogor.
