In Bali we had the great chance to visit several hinduistic temples. The first was Tanah Lot. Now if you get the impression it was a lonely place, then this is do to the fact that I tried very hard not to take pictures of people. I always imagine temples as a place of silence and peace. I tried to capture this idea in my pictures.

In Bali hatten wir die Gelegenheit mehrere hinduistische Tempel zu besuchen. Der erste war Tanah Lot. Solltet ihr den Eindruck haben, es sei ein einsamer Ort, dann liegt das daran, dass ich sehr hat daran gearbeitet habe keine Bilder mit Leuten darin aufzunehmen. Ich stelle mir Tempel immer als Oasen der Ruhe und des Friendes vor. In meinem Bildern wollte ich diese Idee einfangen.
