Ok, so once again I couldn’t take pictures because I had to enjoy the moment. After having me registrated at the local police station, we went to visit the Yayasan Cipta Mandiri (from here on called YCM). As far as I know, it is not accessable for cars. It’s in the middle of a living area. Only small paths leed there. Actually it’s only the second floor of a house; a kindergarden is in the first floor. But it’s a huge advance since the very first beginnings six years ago when they would only have a tiny room barely big enough for twelf persons. Putu, one of the founders told me this while showing me around the foundation. Also Ellen was there, to introduce her: She is the niece of Gesine living at Putus place. We were shortly introduced to the other tutors of the foundation and got to get a look and the few rooms. Close to the entrance there is the computer room and the sewing room. Followed by a kitchen, which wasn’t in use due to Rahmadan. But certainly will be in a month. According to Ellen the food must be delicious because one of the students what to be a cook some day near. The atmosphere was fantastic, I am really looking forward to work at this place. The youngest children, even thought only about ten years old ( as far as I could tell), where able to introduce themselves to me in English, but in a very shy way ( Putu asked them kindly to do so). After talking to Ellen for a while we went back home. Work will begin the upcoming monday at 9 a.m. I’m ready to rumble and yet happy to have some more days to adjust a little bit more.

Wiedermal konnte ich keine Bilder machen, da ich den Moment genießen musste. Nachdem ich in der ansäßigen Polizeistation angemeldet wurde, gingen wir zum Yayasan Cipta Mandiri (von hier ab nur noch YCM genannt). So weit ich weiß ist es nur zu Fuß erreichbar. In der Mitte eines Wohngebietes. Nur kleine verwunschene Wege führen dort hin. Genau genommen besteht die Stiftung nur aus dem zweiten Stockes eines Hauses; ein Kindergarten ist im ersten Stock untergebracht. Aber es ist ein großer Fortschritt seit den Anfängen vor sechs Jahren, damals haben kaum zwölf Leute in den kleinen Raum gepasst, der der Stiftung zur Verfügung stand. Dies erzählte mir Putu, eine der Gründerinnen, während sie mich durch die Stiftung führte. Auch Ellen war da, um sie kurz vorzustellen: Sie ist die Nichte von Gesine und wohnt bei Putu. Die anderen Tutoren wurden uns kurz vorgestellt und wir konnten die wenigen Räume der Stiftung bestaunen. Nahe am Eingang ist der Computerraum und das Nähzimmer. Danach kommt die Küche, momentan außer Betrieb, der Rahmadan lässt grüßen. In einem Monat wird sie jedoch ganz sicher benutzt werden. Ellen erzählte, dass das Essen wirklich gut ist, denn einer der Schüler will sehr bald Koch werden. Die Atmosphäre war fantastisch. Ich kann es wirklich kaum erwarten dort zu arbeiten. Selbst die jüngsten Kinder, etwa zehn Jahre alt (meiner Einschätzung nach), konnten sich auf Englisch vorstellen, wenn auch sehr schüchterm ( Putu musste sie freundlich dazu überreden). Danach sprachen wir noch eine Weile mit Ellen, ehe wir nach Hause gingen. Die Arbeit wird kommenden Montag um 9 Uhr losgehen. Ich bin bereit loszulegen und doch glücklich das ich noch ein paar Tage habe um mich ein bisschen mehr einzugewöhnen.

Otra vez no les pude tomar unas fotos porque tuve que disfrutar del momento. Después de que me registraron en la estación local de la policía, nos fuimos al Yayasan Cipta Mandiri (en el futuro solamente YCM). Hasta que yo lo sepa, solo se puede lograr en pie. Esta en el centro de un barrio de viviendas. Solamente pequeños caminos  van por ese sitio. La fundación ocupa solamente el segundo piso de una casa; hay un kinder por el primer piso. Pero es un avanza grandisimo comparado con la sala pequeño que apenas soportó unas doce personas. Me contó Putu, una de las fundadoras de la fundación, mientras que me daba la vuelta por el areal de la fundación. También estuvo Ellen, para presentarla: es la sobrina de Gesine y vive donde Putu. Me presentaron los otros tutores y las pocas salas de la fundación. Al lado de la entrada es la sala de computación seguida por la de costura. Después sigue la cocina, que no se usa en el momento por el Rahmadan. Pero dentro de un mes la usarán fijamente. Ellen contó que hay comida deliciosa porque uno de los estudiantes quiere ser cocinero un día muy pronto. Simplemente una atmosfera fantastica. No puedo esperarlo de trabajar ahí. Hasta los mas pequeños, unos diez años (en mi opinión) pueden presentarse en inglés, aunque con bastante timidez (Putu tuve que pedirlo cariñosamente de ellos). Después hablabamos un poco con Ellen antes de irnos a casa. El trabajo empezará este lunes a las 9 de la mañana. Estoy listo para empezar, pero agradecido que aun me queda un poco tiempo para adjustarme un poco más.
